About the Artist

As a working artist for the past thirty years, I am inspired by nature and architecture. My ceramic sculptures take form as animals, plants and buildings. I focus on creating textures with fine clay tools and highlight them by using white porcelain body and underglazes which help emphasize the surfaces of my work. Every sculpture is hand-built, unique and conveys a sense of character. We are closely connected to our environment and I hope to honor it with my work.

You can find my work in private collections, The Mix Cooperative at the Niza Knoll Gallery in the Santa Fe Arts District, The Shop at the Gardens (Denver Botanic Gardens), The Summer Art Market, and selected juried shows. I served as a Board Member at the Art Students League of Denver and worked as an Art Instructor for children’s classes at the Denver Art Museum.
