About the Artist

 

My work is inspired by the forms, textures, and structures found in nature and architecture. Many of my sculptures take the form of birds or buildings, allowing me to explore the relationship between organic and constructed forms. I focus on creating intricate surface textures and emphasize these details through the use of glaze washes, which highlight the depth and character of each piece. Every sculpture is hand-built and one-of-a-kind, with its own sense of personality and character.

 

You can find my work in private collections, The Mix Cooperative at the Niza Knoll Gallery in the Santa Fe Arts District, The Shop at the Gardens (Denver Botanic Gardens), The Summer Art Market, and selected juried shows. I served as a Board Member at the Art Students League of Denver and worked as an Art Instructor for children’s classes at the Denver Art Museum.
